The First Selection Sprint has ended – exceeding all axpectations!

Our inaugural Selection Sprint at //kood Moldova has officially wrapped up after three intense weeks of non-stop effort. Out of more than 400 applicants nationwide, 69 were selected to take on the challenge, dedicating a minimum of 8 hours every day strictly to programming, algorithmic challenges, and collaborative problem-solving.

Throughout the Sprint, they had 3 comprehensive evaluation stages, culminating with the presentation of a complete final project: building either a full banking application or an interactive word game from scratch.

Innovation through teacherless, peer-to-peer learning

The core innovation of the //kood model lies in its complete absence of traditional lectures, teachers, or passive learning. Instead, the focus is entirely on immersive teamwork and practical execution.

Working in peer groups to solve engineering challenges, participants actively review each other’s code, practice constructive feedback loops, and defend their solutions to teammates, building the critical soft skills and technical agility needed in real-world IT environments.

Moving forward into the main program, the online-first platform model ensures that learning remains accessible regardless of where participants are located across Moldova.

This flexible framework allows students to seamlessly balance their 12–15 month tech education alongside ongoing jobs, university degrees, or personal commitments.
